  • This house was outstanding. We felt right at home and each night when I returned from work I felt like I was coming home. Because I was there on business, I was unable to sit and enjoy the stunning garden or sit on the wonderful front porch to read a good book. Beds were extremely comfortable, shower was amazing. The kitchen was very well supplied with dishes and cooking utensils. I really can't say enough good about this cottage. I travel worldwide for both business and pleasure and this house definitely one of the best.

  • We stayed at Kim’s property for work as a home away from home. Kim is a great host in terms of communication, house amenities and taking the time to walk us through the property and explain everything in person so that we could make the most of our stay.

I will definitely return whether it is for a working home away from home or a blissful weekend away with my partner. 5 stars Kim! Thank you

  • A fab Airbnb. We really loved our stay. Kim has designed the place and kitted it out beautifully. The surrounding area was beautiful too. Jindalee National Park was one of our fave walks in the area. There's quite a few nice wineries around Young. There's a quirky little pub round the corner from the airbnb too. Kim checked us in, showed us around the place and kindly left us lots of Easter treats. Will definitely stay again.

  • The Martina Cottage is a lovely place in the small village of Wallenbeen, which is 15 minutes from Cootamundra and 30 from Young. It is a charming cottage with a lovely yard and balcony. There is a great fire place for winter and air con for summer. The two bedrooms are tastefully appointed, with a french vibe, and the furnishings are comfortable and the bathroom is modern and the shower is huge. We were only the second guests in this new Airbnb, so don't let the lack of reviews put you off. This would be a lovely base for families and a great country holiday. And Kim, the owner is great, friendly, generous and there was a lovely hamper waiting for us when we arrived. Enjoy!

  • Kim, our host, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the booking process. She greeted us upon arrival for a quick check-in and run-down of the property and then left us to enjoy the comfort and charm of the cottage. The house was impeccably decorated and cleaned. The bathroom was stunning. We appreciated the lovely welcome gift of champagne and chocolates.

We spent the afternoon strolling around the quaint village of Wallendbeen and rewarded ourselves with a drink at the local pub. We both woke the next morning and were amazed at how well we’d slept. We put it down to an extremely comfortable bed, high quality linen and the tranquillity of the surroundings.

The breakfast provisions of fresh eggs and bacon along with home-made jams and muesli were a lovely thoughtful touch. We travel often, have high standards and will definitely be back as every little detail has been considered. Highly recommend!
